This is my commandment: love one another as I love you.
No one has greater love than this,
to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.

The greatest and the most important commandment that Jesus gave us is the commandment of Love. That is,
# Love the Lord your God with all your Heart, soul and mind
# Love your neighbour as you love yourself
All evil in this world we live in today is brought about by lack of love first, for God and secondly for our neighbours.
Jesus tell us that we become His friends if we follow this commandment. He also says that because we are His friends, everything we ask of Our Heavenly Father in His name will be granted unto us, and our Joy may me full.
Jesus, I pray for strength to be able to love my neighbour as myself so that I shall always remain your Friend, and my joy shall be full.
