The Holy Spirit is the helper that God the Father sent to us after Jesus ascended into Heaven.
Holy Spirit helps us in many ways such as the gift of wisdom, gift of knowledge, gift of faith, gift of healing, gift to do miracles, gift of prophesy, gift of discernment of different spirits, gift of speaking in different languages we had not known before, and gift of interpreting those languages.
Through these gifts the Holy Spirit teaches us how to love our God and also love our neighbours. He empowers us to continue living the life that Jesus Christ taught us. He also reminds us of all the teachings that Jesus taught us so that the hussle and bustle of today’s life does not push us away from the path of God.
Prayer: Our Paraclete, the Holy Spirit, we pray that you may always be at our side so that you strengthen me whenever the evil one tempts to draw me from the right path towards eternal life. Give me the fortitude to avoid and escape these seductive ways of our today’s life that lead us into sin.
