Today’s Bible Quote Inspiration – John 6:44-45
Imagine someone telling you that if you eat his human flesh you will live forever!
In our human perspective, this may sound very uncomfortable or very outrageous. It is for this reason that many of Jesus’ followers deserted Him and went back to their daily normal life.
They deserted Jesus maybe because at that time they didn’t know that it is through Jesus that we gain eternal life. They also did not know that Jesus is Lord.
For us at this day and age, we know very well that Jesus is Lord and also know what His Body and Blood means. Therefore if we believe in Him, Love Him and receive His Body and Blood through the Holy Communion as often as possible, then we will have eternal life, and Jesus will raise us on the last day. That is His Promise.
