Let us remember those who have lost their mothers, asking for comfort and peace in their hearts. Today, we give thanks for the extraordinary gift of mothers and the profound impact they have on our lives.
Happy Mother’s Day Prayer
Heavenly Father, I come to You on Happy Mother’s Day with a heart full of gratitude and reverence for the precious gift of mothers.
I offer this prayer not only for my own mother but for every mother, known and unknown, including those of my friends, family, and countless others.
I thank You Dear Lord for the vital role our mothers play within the family structure. Their education, wisdom, boundless patience, and unwavering understanding are sources of immense blessing, comfort and Joy.
I am grateful for the immense physical, emotional, and spiritual gifts our moms possess, and the way they enrich our lives in countless ways.
I beseech You, Heavenly Father, to guide mothers worldwide in becoming beacons of love and blessing to their children.
May our mothers’ utterances and actions be rooted in love especially when they are delivering words of affirmation or discipline.
Furthermore, I pray that children around the globe may find unique ways to honour their mothers, under your guidance.
May our mothers extend their blessings and love beyond the confines of their homes. May they spread them to their extended families, communities, churches, and schools.
I pray for the profound impact of motherhood to be cherished and celebrated throughout society, with these remarkable women receiving the recognition they deserve for their everyday contributions to the world. Please grant them guidance and purpose in fulfilling their roles here on Earth. Amen.
