Bl. Nicholas Giustiniani Biography
Bl. Nicholas Giustiniani was Destined to the Venetian respectability. A Benedictine priest at the religious community of San Niccolò del Lido in Venice, Italy in 1153.
After the entirety of his siblings were executed in battle outside Constantinople in 1172, Nicholas got regulation from Pope Alexander III to come back to mainstream life.
He wedded Anne Michieli, the little girl of a Venetian doge, and was the father of nine. In 1179 Anne consented to give him a chance to come back to his calling to religious life, and Nicholas spent his outstanding years at San Niccolò del Lido; a couple of years after the fact, Anne turned into a sister at the community of Saint Blaise close Venice.
