Oh Lord our God, we give You thanks for bringing St. Dominic to us to be an example of devotion to You.
Help us follow his example of the love he had for You when he, with utmost commitment studied our faith’s foundations.
Oh Saint Dominic, as a young man and with deep faith, you studied the teachings of our faith and realised that these teachings were the truth. You devoted your entire life defending this truth from the people who attacked these teachings of our faith.
You established a religious order so that you can teach these true teachings. Pray for me, Oh Saint Dominic so that I may be as devoted to the teachings of our faith as you were.
