Biography
Saint Andrew Zorard, a missionary hermit in the zone of Olawa, Silesia (in present day Poland). A monk in Tropie, Poland. Hermit and afterward Benedictine monk on Mount Zobar, Hungary 1003 where, in line with King St. Stephen of Hungary, he set up a hermitage. Profound instructor of St. Benedict of Szakalka. Known for his grim, pensive life and individual devotion. An account of him was composed by Bl. Maurus of Pecs.
