Biography
Saint Arsenius the Great, Destined to an affluent Roman respectable family. A deacon. Coach to the children of Emperor Theodosius the Great 383. Around 395 he left to live with the monks of Alexandria, Egypt. After the head’s demise, Arsenius resigned to the wild of Scetis, and turned into an understudy of St. John the Short. Hermit, noted for his extraordinary austerity.
