Saint Bairfhion of Killbarron was the bishop and friend of St. Columba and Brendan.
He was in charge of a church founded by St. Columba in Drum Cullen, Offaly. He lived in Killbarron. Bairfhion traveled to spread the faith.
According to legend, he sailed to Saint Brendan the Navigator to America.
