St Betharius of Chartres Biography
St Betharius of Chartres was born in the 7th century. He studied philosophy at the charter school of Chartres, in France. He was a Monk and a Priest and also a Hermit. Court chaplain to King Clotaire II. He was a reluctant bishop of Chartres, France, 595 AD.
