Saint Colman Muillin of Derrykeighan Life History
The Holy Colman had the nickname Muillin (“of the mill”). He came from Derrykeighan (Doire Caocháin) in the Lower Dunluce Baronium in the county of Antrim in that part of the northern province of Ulster in Ireland which is now part of the United Kingdom.
Saint Patrick gave Colman a Christian education. He probably became a hermit of which Ireland would produce so much in the following centuries.
