Saint’s Biography
Saint Criotan of Macreddin was the son of Illudion. After Criotan accidentally killed his father, he retired from the world to live as a swineherd. Criotan was a spiritual student of Saint Petroc. Later he became a monk and traveled to Ireland to study for 20 years. Criotan returned home and founded the church in Sancreed, Cornwall.
