St Cyriaca of Nicomedia was a Christian lady who was born in the 3rd century AD in Rome, Italy. She was burned to death and died as a martyr in 307 AD at Nicomedia during the Christian persecutions of Gaius Galerius Valerius Maximianus. We celebrate her feast day on May 19 every year in the Catholic Church.
