Saint’s Biography
Saint Derfel Gadarn was 6 century christian regarded as a saint. Legend says he was a warrior of king Arthur family in Medieval. Traditional held he was related to Hywel, a legendary Brythonic king of Brittany.
Saint Derfel Gadarn was the grandson of Hoel I Mawr the Great. Brother of Saint Tudwal. Brother of Saint Arthfael. He was a skilled Soldier who survived the battle of Camlan in 537. A life at war caused him to turn to religion. He died in 566 in wales.
