St Evellius of Pisa was a counselor to Emperor Nero and was born in the 1st Century AD in Rome and died as a martyr in 66 AD in Pisa, Italy. We celebrate his feast day on May 11 every year in the Catholic Church.
Saint Evellius of Pisa was the adviser to Emperor Nero, who converted to Christianity after seeing the courage and faith of martyrs. He left Nero’s court and fled to Rome. There he was arrested and beheaded in AD 66 in Pisa, Italy.
