Biography
Saint Everild of Everingham, Seventh-century English nobility. Converted to Christianity. a nun, entering a covent at York with St. Bega and St. Wuldreda under the bearing of St. Wilfrid. Relegated by Wilfrid to lead a huge network of nuns at Bishop’s Farm (later called Everildsham in her respect, and today called Everingham). Noted spiritual supervisor of her sisters.
