St Gaudentius of Rimini, also known as Gaudenzo, or Gaudenzio was the bishop of Rimini, Italy from 346 AD to 360 AD.
He was born in the early 4th century AD in Ephesus in Asia Minor and died as a martyr on October 14 360 AD by Arians for condemning Arianism.
We celebrate his feast day on October 14 every year in the Catholic Church.

St Gaudentius of Rimini Life History
Saint Gaudentius of Rimini was born in the early 4th century AD in Ephesus in Asia Minor. In 308 AD he migrated to Rome and was baptized. He was ordained as a priest in 332 AD and in 346 AD, he was consecrated as a bishop.
He was sent to Rimini, Italy to become the first bishop there. He attended the Council of Rimini in 359 AD, convened by the Roman Emperor Constantius II to condemn Arianism.
After St Gaudentius of Rimini attacked Arianism, he was kidnapped by the Arians, lynched, and died as a martyr on October 14 360 AD.
