Saint Gelasius I Biography

St. Gelasius I was the Child of an African foreigner named Valerius. Cleric. Pope. Known for his learning, philanthropy, and feeling of equity. Contradicted the Acacian and Manichaean sins.

Collided with the Patriarch of Constantinople over matchless quality in Alexandria, Egypt and Antioch.

Stifled a considerable lot of the Roman agnostic celebrations, and requested the gathering of the Eucharist under the two species, settling the contention of the best possible structure for Communion.

Composed for ceremonial sacramentaries, and a portion of his work shows up in the Leonine Sacramentary.
