Saint’s Biography
Saint Gerald was born around 1025 in France. He finished his education and become Benedictine monk. Gerald suffered from headache and was enabled to concentrate on prayers and other duties. Therefore, took care of sick people as a way of serving God. Saint Gerald was sent on a pilgrimage to Italy in the hope that Saint Michael could cure him. In Rome, he became the priesthood from 1049 to 1054.
Death
Gerald died on April 5, 1095 in Sauve-Majeure. His memorial day is on the day he died (April 5). His relics are in the parish church in Sauve-Majeure.
