Biography
Saint Gregorio Grassi, A priest. A member of the Franciscan Friars Minor (Observants). Preacher to China. Biblical vicar of Northern Shanxi, China. Martyred in the Boxer Rebellion. Among 25 clerics, monks, nuns, seminarians, and laypeople. All individuals from the Franciscans and all killed together for their faith in the Boxer Rebellion. Died on July 9, 1900.
