Biography
Saint Gwen, Hitched to Saint Fragan. Mother of Saint Winwallus, Saint Jacut, and Saint Guithern. Compelled to escape Britain in the fifth century when royal Roman troops hauled out, and life turned out to be hard and chancy as agnostics recovered their territory. Voyage and help spread the gospel in Brittany. As far as anyone knows lived in the fifth or sixth century. Her appellation is Welsh for ‘(of the) three bosoms’
