Biography
Saint Harduin of Fontenelle, a benedictine monk at the religious community of St.-Wandrille in Fontenelle, Rouen, Normandy (in current France). Also, a priest. He got authorization to live as a hermit, and lived secured a cell close to the monastery. Productive copyist of the works of the Fathers of the Church. taught math and calligraphy. Explorer to Rome during the papacy of Pope Hadrian I. Died on July 12, 811 at Fontenelle, France of natural causes.
