Saint’s Biography

Saint Irene was sister the sister of Saint Agape and Saint Chionia. The were killed together for possessing the Scriptures despite a prohibition issued in 303. Following her sister’s death, she ordered to deny her faith but refused. They sent Irene to a brothel and exposed naked; they executed her.
