St. Leothadius of Auch Biography
St. Leothadius of Auch was also known as Léothade. He was born of the Frankish nobility. He later became a monk and consequently an abbot of the Moissac Abbey in France in the 670 AD. He also served as a Bishop of Auch, France in 691 AD. Léothade died while in transit as part of a delegation to Charles Martel.
