Saint’s Biography

Saint Maria Crescentia Höss was born in 1682 to a poor weaver family. She desired to enter the convent but the convent was poor and because Crescentia had no dairy the superiors refused her admission. Her case was pledged by the mayor who the convent owed favors to.

The community felt that Maria Crescentia Höss case was forced making her life miserable. She was considered a problem give many tasks. This change for the better when new sister was selected and saw her virtue.
Maria was appointed as Novice-mistress from 1726 to 1741. Upon the dead of the sister she was give the position and help improve the finances of the convent.

St. Maria Crescentia Höss Death

She died on April 1744 5 (Easter) in Germany of natural causes.
