St. Mellon Biography
Saint Mellon was also known as Mallone. Mellon made a trip to Rome, Italy to carry a tribute to the head from the British Isles. While making a penance to the god Mars, he heard Pope Saint Stephen I lecturing close-by.
He not long after changed over to Christianity and was immersed by Stephen. He sold his property, offered it to poor people, considered further, and was appointed. He and Pope Stephen got a dream of a blessed messenger advising Mellon to proselytize the territory of Rouen in present-day France. First diocesan of Rouen. Healer and marvel labourer.
