Saint’s Biography
Saint Molagga of Fermoy was born in Ireland to poor parents. Baptized by Saint Cuimin Foda. Molagga built a monastery which he later left to go to Northern Ireland, then to Scotland and Wales, to St. David of Menevia, from which he received a bell as a gift. He then returned to Ireland and died in the second half of the 7th century in the monastery he founded.
