Blessed Luciano Verdejo Acuña was born on October 26 1885 in Almeria Spain and died on June 9 1938 in Tur´n, Granada Spain.
He was a married layman in the diocese of Almeria, Spain, and was martyred in the Spanish Civil War. He was later venerated on June 14 2016 by Pope Francis (decree of martyrdom).
Saint Diomedes of Tarsus
St Diomedes of Tarsus, also known as Diomedes of Nicaea, was born in Tarsus, Cilicia, and was beheaded in 305 AD at Nicaea, Bithynia.
He was a Physician at Constantinople, a lay evangelist, and was martyred in the persecutions of Diocletian.
Saint Maximian of Syracuse
St Maximian of Syracuse was born in Sicily and died of natural causes in 594 AD. He was a monk at the monastery of St Andrew, Coelian Hill, Rome, Italy.
Additionally, he was a brother monk with Pope St Gregory the Great and also a papal ambassador to Constantinople. He later became a bishop of Syracuse, Sicily.
Saint Julian of Mesopotamia
St Julian of Mesopotamia died of natural causes in 370 AD. He was kidnapped and sold into slavery in the 4th century in Syria.
When he was free again, he became a monk in Mesopotamia and later a spiritual student of St Ephrem of Syria.
Saint Vincent of Agen
St Vincent of Agen, also known as Vincenzo di Aquitania, was a deacon and preacher. He was martyred by pagans as a sacrifice to a sun god.
During the time of his death, he was staked out, scourged and beheaded in 292 AD at Agen, Gascony, France.
Saint Cumian of Bobbio
St Cumian of Bobbio, also known as Cummian, Cummin or Cummianus, was born in Ireland. He was an eight-century bishop in Ireland, he left his native land to live most of his life as a monk in Bobbio, Italy.

St Alexander of Prusa, also known as Alexandros, was a bishop of Prusa, Bithynia (in modern Turkey) and also a martyr.

St Valerius of Milan was venerated in Milan, Italy, but no other details have survived.

St Cyrus was also known as Kyros. No details about him have survived.
Martyrs of Arbil
Martyrs of Arbil were beheaded on May 31 347 AD at Arbil, Assyria (in modern Kurdistan, Iraq). They were five nuns who were martyred together in the persecution of Tamsabur for refusing to renounce Christianity for sun worship.
