St Coprio was abandoned by his parents as an infant on a dungheap (which in Greek is called koprìa). He was rescued and named Coprio by the monks of the nearby monastery of Saint Theodosius in Bethlehem.
The monks raised him as their own and he grew to become a monk all through his 90 years in the monastery and became a model of holiness.
Saint Paphnutius of Egypt
St Paphnutius of Egypt was a hermit. He came out of the wilderness to stand with his fellow Christians during the persecutions of Diocletian. In 303 AD, he was tortured on a rack then hanged from a palm tree and died as a martyr in Egypt.
Saint Ysarn of Saint Victor
St Ysarn of Saint Victor was born in Toulouse, France. He was a Benedictine monk and later an abbot of Saint Victor Abbey in Marseilles, France. The abbey progressed and flourished under him. He died in 1048 AD.

St Lupus of Lyons was a monk near Lyons and later became the Archbishop of Lyons, France. He suffered in the turmoil which followed the death of Saint Sigismund of Burgundy. He died in 542 AD.

St Felix of Autun was a rich, second-century merchant in Autun, France. He converted to Christianity, after which he assisted and supported missionaries in his region. He died as a martyr in 179 AD.
Saint Rusticus of Clermont
St Rusticus of Clermont was also known as Rotiri. From 426 AD to 446 AD, he was the Bishop of Clermont, France. He died in 446 AD.
