Saint’s Biography
Saint Pansofius of Alexandria was the son of the imperial pro-consul of Alexandria in Egypt. When Pansofius received his inheritance, he gave his entire fortune to the poor and lived for 20 years as a hermit outside the city. During the persecutions of Decius, Pansofius’s reputation as a saint led to his arrest and execution.
