St Pedro de Jesús Maldonado-Lucero, also known as Peter of Jesus Maldonado, was a Catholic Priest born on June 15 1892 in Chihuáhua City, Chihuáhua, Mexico. He was shot in the forehead and died as a martyr on February 11 1937 in Chihuáhua City, Chihuáhua, Mexico during the Cristeros rebellion in Mexico. He is one of the martyrs of the Cristero War. We celebrate his feast day on May 21 every year in the Catholic Church.
