St Pedro Esqueda Ramírez was a Catholic Priest born on April 29 1887 in San Juan de los Lagos, Jalisco, diocese of San Juan de los Lagos, Mexico.
He was shot three times and died as a martyr on November 22 1927 in Teocaltitán, Jalisco, Mexico during the Cristero rebellion in Mexico. He is one of the martyrs of the Cristero War (La Cristiada).
We celebrate his feast day on November 22 and May 21 (as one of the Martyrs of the Mexican Revolution) every year in the Catholic Church.
