Biography
Saint Petrus van Assche, a Franciscan Friars Minor monk. Martyred by Calvinists for “papism” and his faith in the Real Presence in the Eucharist. One of the Martyrs of Gorkum. One of nineteen saints executed by Calvinists for loyalty to the Pope and for their confidence in the Real Presence in the Eucharist.
