Biography
Saint Petrus Zhang Banniu, Hitched layman in the missional vicariate of Northern Shansi, China, Member of the Secular Franciscans. Martyred in the Boxer Rebellion. Among 25 ministers, monks, nuns, seminarians and laypeople, all individuals from the Franciscans, and all killed together for their faith in the Boxer Rebellion.
