Saint Philadelphus of Lentini was born in Sicily, Italy. He was the brother of Saint Alphius and Saint Cyrinus. He was killed and had his tongue torn from his mouth and died as a Martyr in 251 AD during the persecutions of Roman Emperor Trajanus Decius.
