St Possessor of Verdun was the Bishop of Verdun in 470. He was born in the 5th Century AD in Verdun, France, and died in 485 AD. We celebrate his feast day on May 11 every year in the Catholic Church.

Saint Possessor of Verdun was a judge in France. He later became bishop of Verdun in 470. Possessor led his bishopric through a period of constant invasion and difficulties with Franks, Vandals, and Goths. He died in 485 AD.
