St Pudentiana of Rome, also known as Potentiana, was a Christian lady born in the 2nd century AD in Rome who died as a martyr for giving Christian burial to early martyrs who were left to rot. We celebrate her feast day on May 19 every year in the Catholic Church.

Saint’s Biography
Saint Pudentiana of Rome was the daughter of Saint Claudia of Rome and Senator Pudens. Her sister was Saint Praxedes.
She gave all her belongings to the poor and was persecuted because she had buried Christian martyrs who were left to rot.
The church of Saint Pudentiana was built on the site of her house. Virgin Martyr.
