Biography
Saint Quodvultdeus was a North African church father in the fifth Century. He said to be living in Carthage in 407 AD where he became the Deacon in 421 AD. He was a friend to Saint Augustine of Hippo who dedicated some writings to him. Later, he became the Bishop of Carthage.
During the Arian invasion, he was sent to exile and an Arian patriarch was made the Bishop. On arrival at Naples, he continued with his evangelism mission fighting the Pelagian heresy in Campagna. The Arians could not allow a Catholic appointment as a Bishop in Carthage for the next 15 years.
