Biography
Saint Reinildis of Saintes, destined to nobility, the girl of St. Amalburga and Duke Witger of Lorraine; sister of St. Gudula of Brussels and St. Emebert of Cambrai. She was shown her faith by her mom. As a grown-up, Reinildis made private promises to dedicate herself to God, gave her assets to the convent of Lobbes where she remained for a long time, and turned into a pilgrim to the Holy Lands, bringing back numerous relics. Hermitess at Saintes, Belgium. Martyred by agnostic Frisian intruders.
