Saint’s Biography
St. Simeon was named bishop of Ctesiphon in Persia, in 324. King Shapur II of Persia, order Simeon to collect double taxes from all Christians. Simeon refused to collect the money requested and was therefore arrested.
St. Simeon of Ctesiphon Death
Simeon remained for a long time imprisoned with over a hundred Christians. He was finally beheaded on Good Friday 345 in the Persian empires.
