Saint’s Biography
Saint Solange of Bourges was born in 863 in a poor but devout family in France. Solange was a shepherdess who was killed for refused to marry the son of the Count of Poitiers. Solange fought her attacker and overpower him, filled with rage he pursued and cut off her head.
