Saint Theobald of Dorat Biography
St. Theobald of Dorat was born to a poor but a religious family. He was a spiritual student of St. Israel of Limoges at Dorat, France. He was ordained a deacon where he considered himself unworthy of the priesthood. He served as a treasurer and sacristan of the Churches in Dorat. Theobald had a ministry to the poor and the sick. He was a teacher and a spiritual director of Saint Gauthier.
