St. Trumwin of Whitby Biography
St. Trumwin of Whitby was the bishop of the Southern Picts in Scotland in 681 AD. He worked in the monastery of Abercorn. However, when king Egfrid was killed by the Picts in 685 AD, Trumwin and his monks had to leave the area. He later retired to be a monk in Whitby in England.
