St Tudy of Landevennec, also called Tegwin, Tudinus, Tudec, or Tudi was a hermit born and died in the 5th century AD in Brittany, France. He founded monasteries at Landévennec in Brittany, France and in Cornwall, England. We celebrate his feast day on May 11 every year in the Catholic Church.

Saint’s Biography
Saint Tudy was a spiritual disciple of Saint Brioc. He founded several monasteries in Brittany and Cornwall. The village of St. Tudy in Cornwall is named after him. Later Tudy became a monk the hermit in Brittany and abbot in Landevennec, Brittany.
