Saint’s Biography
Saint Urbicius of Clermont was the first bishops of Clermont in France. In 288 St. Urbicius was chosen the second bishop of the diocese of Clermont in France.
His wife joined the convent but soon returned to Urbicius didn’t want to give up married life. His heart softened by the voice of her beloved voice and the memories of the happy years they had spent together. They stayed together telling people she was his sister was there to keep house for him.
The bishop‘s conscience soon got to him and left both wife and diocese to live in penance.
