Blessed’s Biography
Bl Albert of Bergamo was born to a modest but pious farm family. Albert was a married layman and a Farmer in Villa d’Ogna, Italy. Best known for his ministry and devotion to the poor. During his evangelism, Albert went on a pilgrim to Rome, Italy, to Jerusalem and to Compostela, Spain. He settled finally in Cremona, Italy. Albert died on May 7, 1279, in Cremona, Italy of natural causes.
