Saint Quadratus of Herbipolis was arrested and imprisoned for several years at Nicomedia, Nicaea, and Apame aand then martyred for his faith in the persecutions of Valerian. He was martyred in 257 at Herbipolis, Asia Minor (in modern Turkey).
