Blessed Albert of Bologna was a Monk and Abbot of the Vallombrosan abbey near Bologna, Italy. He was born in the late 12th century AD in Bologna, Italy, and died in 1245 AD of natural causes. We celebrate his feast day on May 20 every year in the Catholic Church.
