Blessed’s Biography

Blessed Antonia Mesina was the second born of ten children of a farming family. She left school four years later and took over housekeeping job from her mother.

Her mother was bedridden and suffering from heart disease. At ten, she joined the Catholic Action and became an active and vibrant member and recruiter.

While collecting firewood for her home, she was beaten and murdered by rapist teenager. Antonia fought him until her last breath. She is considered a martyr of purity.
