Blessed Diego of Valdieri was a Franciscan friar minor. He was born in the late 17th century AD in Valdieri, Italy and died in May 15 1655 AD near San Secondo di Pinerolo, Italy. We celebrate his feast day on May 15 every year in the Catholic Church.
Bl Diego of Valdieri was Franciscan friar minor who was sent to the Pinerolo region to preach against Waldensianism. He converted many and was murdered on May 15, 1655, in Italy.
